Take a look at Bright Hill's Library & Internet Wing,  a Humanities Library for Treadwell & Surrounding Community! Bright Hill Poetry Book Competition Guidelines Available Welcome to Bright Hill Press, since 1992 presenting:

  • Word Thursdays reading series;
  • New York State Literary Web Site and Map, developed and administered by Bright Hill Press in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts;
  • Word and Image Gallery, a gallery dedicated to the integration of language and visual art;
  • Speaking the Words Festivals and Tours featuring more than 400 writers;
  • Writing and the visual arts to more than 600 children and 300 adults in its popular Word Thursdays Literary Workshops for Kids and Adults;
  • Publishing fine poetry and literary prose from US and international writers, including the ground-breaking "Iroquois Voices, Iroquois Visions" anthology, through Bright Hill Press Books;
  • Sponsoring the Share the words High-School Poetry Competitions for hundreds of regional youth;
  • Radio by Writers;
  • Producing audio and video programs of established and emerging poets and writers who have participated in the BHP/WT programs through Radio by Writers and Word Thursdays Video; and
